Located north of Bressuire on the farmland of Grand Puchaud, Golf du Bocage Bressuirais is a municipal golf course created for the local community. It is operated by the Association of Golf Club du Bocage Bressuirais (CPOR) and takes over from the Grove Golf Club which was established in 1992 to provide a practice range.
Its construction is progressive; the opening of a driving range in July 2012, a 6-hole pitch & putt (with 12 starting points) in September 2012, extended to 9 holes with 18 starting points in September 2013 to become a compact course. This will lead to the creation of an 9-hole golf course (3 km) in 2015 and finally an 18-hole course (6km) in 2016.
This joint undertaking between club members and the town’s own municipal services is aimed at providing a quality golf course open to as many people as possible.
